Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident committing to a longer plan. If your situation changes, you shouldn't feel stuck. This policy explains exactly how refunds work — no ambiguity, no surprises.
Monthly plans
If you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase or any renewal, you are entitled to a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, monthly subscriptions are not refunded for the remainder of the current billing period. When you cancel outside the 14-day window, your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and no further charges are made. There is nothing to request — cancellation is one click from Account Settings.
Annual and 3-year plans
If you cancel an annual or 3-year plan before it expires, you receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your plan — calculated to the day.
The refund is processed automatically when you cancel. You do not need to request it separately or contact us. It is returned to your original payment method within 5 business days.
How the calculation works
Refund amount = amount paid × (days remaining ÷ total days in plan)
Example: Annual plan, cancelled after 5 months
Plan: Pioneer Annual at $190 CAD. Days used: 152. Days remaining: 213.
Refund: $190 × (213 ÷ 365) = ~$111 CAD
Example: 3-year plan, cancelled after 14 months
Plan: Pioneer 3-Year at $570 CAD. Days used: 426. Days remaining: 669.
Refund: $570 × (669 ÷ 1095) = ~$348 CAD
No minimum usage period
There is no minimum period before you can cancel and receive a refund. If you cancel on day one of an annual plan, you receive a full refund minus one day's equivalent. We mean it when we say there's no risk to committing upfront.
Reactivation within 12 months
If you cancel and come back within 12 months, your original locked price is reinstated automatically. You pick up where you left off — same tier, same price.
After 12 months, the current active tier pricing applies.
How to cancel
Go to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. One click, no confirmation form, no phone call required. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, and any applicable refund is initiated immediately.
